The ninth Sixty-Five Roses Ball will begin with a reception during which there will be opportunities to take your chance on the Tree of Life and the Silent Auction.  You will then go through to the fabulous Ballroom for a three course meal with wine. As we sit down there will be a game of Heads & Tails, details below.  During dinner you can continue to keep an eye on your Silent Auction bids.  After dinner there will be a short film followed by the Main Auction conducted by Raj Bisram .  At the end of the Auction you can then relax and dance the night away.

Dress Code: Black Tie
The last dance will be approximately 12:45 and Carriages will be at 1:00 am.

On the Tree of Life you buy an envelope – prizes include:

13th CENTURY HOUSE IN NAXOS, GREECEEnjoy a week for six on this beautiful island.

The house is in the fortified Venetian area (the castro) at the top of Naxos town and is reached via winding whitewashed alleys. The castro is peaceful and secluded but only a short walk down to the busy harbour.  The house has views of the sea from the roof, a suntrap sunken terrace, and cool breezes through its whitewashed characterful rooms.  The peace and tranquillity of the house provides a delicious contrast with the buzzy atmosphere of the harbour, with its colourful nightly promenade along the tavernas and shops.  Dating back to the 13th/14th century and thus a little fragile, the house is a holiday destination for those who appreciate beauty and character.  The ceilings are high and airy and two large reception rooms, three double bedrooms (sleeps 6) and the outdoor terrace give plenty of places to relax.
The nearest sandy beach with shallow waters and tavernas is a 10 – 15 minute walk through the town. Other spectacular beaches on the island can be reached by bus, taxi or hire car.
Not suitable for anyone infirm or with poor lung function as it can only be reached up steep steps with no alternative route. Not suitable for very small children.
Dates to be arranged with the owner, subject to availability
Flights and transfers not included

On the Sixty-Five Roses Auction there will be various lots to make your bid – the bidding website will be launched at the end of April.  Watch here for more details!
There will be some fabulous “rose” lots and other unique items – ranging from roses drawn by celebrities to exotic escapes!
This is open to everyone to add bids from the launch date on-line and throughout the evening – the best bid at the close, approximately 11pm, will be the winner of that lot.
Eight of the lots will continue to be auctioned “live” on the evening.  If you are bidding on-line you can leave your ‘best bid’ for the auctioneer.

Our Auctioneer for the evening is Mr Raj Bisram.
