5 Bottles Taylors 1977 Vintage Port – £1,050
Robert Parker, the Wine Advocate writes…. “This house must certainly be the Latour of Portugal. Their ports are remarkably backward yet still impressive when young. Of all the vintage ports, those of Taylor need the longest time to mature and even when fully mature seem to have an inner strength and firmness that keep them going for decades. Their tawnys are also among the very best, though somewhat expensive. The 1977 has consistently been at the top of my list of vintage ports in this great vintage …. It is a mammoth, opaque, statuesque vintage port of remarkable depth and power.”

Tea at Nonnatus House with Jenny Agutter – £5,200
Neil Street Productions are kindly allowing me to invite two guests to our closed set during the last couple of weeks filming on series eight of ‘Call the Midwife’. We finish filming 14th October. Not long, so please be ready with your bid, if you feel like a day with the midwives at Nonnatus House and these dates work for you.
I would love you to join me on a day I am filming; you might even have a chance to take part yourself.. I will introduce you to cast members, the costume department, you can see the work that goes on in makeup, it’s not all glamourous (apart from Trixie). You might find the prosthetics interesting as well as the walls of mid sixties photos. The sets and props keep us aware of the period, I love what this department brings to the production. You can see the sets being lit, rehearsal taking place and the action being filmed. When we have a break I have a large ‘Call the Midwife’ teapot ready to make tea, and to take away when you leave, along with a companion book on Call the Midwife signed by the cast members. Memories of a day out, back in 1964.
I look forward to your visit. All the best, Jenny Agutter
